Learn about the required links needed to be set up with Quickbooks for payroll to post properly.

For payroll to properly post to Quickbooks, the required links are:

    • Net Pay as a Credit to your Bank Account.
    • Gross Pay (Not assigned or all) as a Debit to an Expense Account.
    • All Deductions are a Credit to a Liability Account, set up as "Type: Other Current Liability".
    • Employer Paid items require a link as: 
      • Credit to a Liability Account, set up as "Type: Other Current Liability" and;
      • A second link, as a Debit to an Expense Account.
